Denver Broncos Stadium Tour
January 21st, 2012
Tyler has been obsessed with football this year and it took him all of
about 2 days of living in Colorado to become a Broncos fan. When
Grandma and Grandpa visited for Christmas they took him to Sports
Authority Field at Mile High. They were able to look at the
stadium, but didn't get a chance to go on a tour. Tyler had been
begging us ever since then to go on a tour, so we finally decided to
head down there on a Saturday morning.
We drove down to the stadium and were able to catch the first tour of
the morning. The tickets run $10 for adults and $8 for
kids. I think you can find coupons online if you search, but we
decided last minute to head down there, so we were kind of in a hurry
to get there in time for the start of the tour.
The tour began and our guide took us to some of the luxury boxes.
We got to look out and see the field. We also go to try out the
seats.

We then headed through the press box and after that we got to see the visitor's locker room.

Our next stop was the field. We didn't get to actually walk on
the field as they were trying to restore the turf after the season, but
we did get to walk around at field level.

We were able to spend a few minutes at field level to look around and take pictures.

We then walked outside and went to the fan shop to end our tour. There was a really nice sculpture outside of the stadium.

Tyler enjoyed the tour a lot and we all learned a bunch of interesting
facts from the very knowledgeable tour guide. The tour lasted
about an hour and a half which meant it was time for lunch. We
grabbed a quick bite to eat and then drove to the REI flagship store
and walked around that. It was then time to head back home.
It was definitely a fun little day in Denver.
